Operation of self-consumption is qualified as extended when the supply of electricity is made between one or more producers and one or more consumers. The withdrawal and injection points must not exceed a distance of two kilometers (20km under exemption) on the low voltage network.
This operation does not require any specific equipment and any investment for consumers, companies, local authorities who remain connected to the public distribution network.
